Illinois High School Association Student Advisory Committee District 8 Representative

Hello everyone! I'm Josie Canellis. I'm a student athlete at Carl Sandburg High School and play varsity tennis and varsity basketball. I also participate in Investment Club, Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science, Youth and Government, Mu Alpha Theta, and am a National Honors Society Executive Board Member. Volunteering through BEDS Plus also keeps me busy, helping prepare meals and fundraisers for homeless shelters. I am excited to be a student blogger for the IHSA Student Advisory Committee and will post regular meeting updates and relevant information about school spirit activities, leadership conferences and scholarships.
